The Nevada Hotel building at nighttime in York Beach, Maine.

a Maine Hotel always ahead of the curve

Built in 1951, The Nevada was one of the first beachfront motor motels in Maine. As local owners, we totally restored the oceanfront property in 2024 — keeping the same curvy structure, but adding modern comforts, thoughtful amenities, and good vibes unlike any other on the seacoast.

Beach Front Row Rooms

2020s luxury inside 1950s architecture. Each and every room at The Nevada has bright windows, a king-sized bed, spacious bathrooms, and a dedicated deck with ocean views of Long Sands Beach — plus, of course, that crispy clean and salty sea Maine air.

York Beach grassroots

Couple-owners Joe and Michelle and their friends and co-owners Chris and Liz have lived in York year-round for over 40 years, and wanted to make sure this historic property was properly preserved with local ownership. They raised the building out of the flood zone and preserved the mid-century design, while entirely restoring and enhancing everything else.

Ocean Front Bar and Restaurant

Lulu's is the new modern tiki bar and pan-tropical restaurant at The Nevada. It's the first restaurant in Maine to serve al pastor tacos made traditionally on el trompo.
